Perfect World

Lastlings present their sophomore album Perfect World, an exploration of the mental and emotional hurdles that come with heartache and romantic loss. Like it's predecessor First Contact, Lastlings' second record is deeply thematic and unconditionally personal, weaving a thorough storyline that transverses feelings of insecurity and vulnerability over the course of it's 12 tracks. Featuring the singles 'Get What You Want', 'Holding Me Like Water', 'Noise' and 'Out My Head', Perfect World reflects the sibling duo's elegant ability to craft empathetic and relatable stories through song, floating on top of hard-hitting production built for the dancefloor."This record is a diary. These stories represent our early 20s. It is a journey to finding independence. It's probably the most vulnerable music we have ever made. We want this album to let people know that they aren't alone and that they don't need to rush in life, to take things slow. It is a reminder that you will be okay being on your own and that the next time you say something to yourself along the lines of "In a Perfect World", to think of the positives in our lives." - Amy + Josh Dowdle (Lastlings)
