Songs In The Key Of Rock

Released in 2003, Songs In The Key Of Rock is Glenn Hughes' homage to the sound and spirit of the 1970s. Inspired by vintage hard rock, the album channels the energy of Deep Purple and Trapeze while showcasing Hughes' unmatched vocal range. JJ Marsh returns on guitar, joined by Jeff Kollman, Ed Roth, and Chad Smith, whose drumming adds explosive drive. Tracks range from high-octane rockers to heartfelt tributes, including one dedicated to John Bonham. The performances are tight, expressive, and full of character, reflecting Hughes' deep connection to the era. Songs In The Key Of Rock is a celebration of timeless rock values, delivered with modern clarity and passion. A must-have for fans of vintage rock with contemporary fire. Hughes proves once again why his voice remains one of the most revered in the genre.
