Lo Mismo (Mod)

A profoundly original artist, Raphox is quickly making a name for himself, expanding the whole premise of down-tempo lo-fi electronica, incorporating hip-hop and Afro Cuban elements to create something entirely new. Hailing from Havana, Cuba - now firmly rooted in Miami, Raphox has a way of capturing the vibe of an ancient rhythm, expanding it into the modern world with deft precision. He never strays far from his roots and in doing so, he stays connected to the source in ways that open up new possibilities. Raphox has found a sympathetic partner in the equally talented young rapper named Crypto for his latest release, the alluring "Lo Mismo" - a groove laden, soulful, lo-fi track that merits repeated listening. Another feather in the cap of the newly minted Tremenda Sounds imprint.
