Polkas on Parade

American musician, accordionist, bandleader, and television impresario, Lawrence Welk helped popularize the polka form in the US via his long running popular television show, "The Lawrence Welk Show," on which his band played classic dance numbers as well as a variety of polka music. Along with great musicians like the singer/accordionist Myron Floren, Welk recorded many fine albums and "Polkas on Parade," with it's spotlight on strictly polka music, is the classic example of the polka side of the great bandleader. All selections newly remastered.
