ABOUT THE ALBUM
New Orleans jazz first came into prominence in the early 1920's, largely through the promotion and genius of the great Ferdinand "Jellyroll" Morton, whose piano stylings and unique compositions helped define jazz in it's infancy. Presented here are the historic 1924 recordings that changed popular music forever. All selections newly remastered.
