Swing Low Sweet Clarinet

A mainstay of the Duke Elllington Orchestra for over a quarter century, Jimmy Hamilton became one of the jazz world's most respected clarinetists although he was often featured on tenor sax as well. This rare solo album from the early sixties finds Jimmy fronting his own orchestra and features a great mix of Ellington tunes sprinkled with a few originals and some well known standards. Digitally remastered.
