ABOUT THE ALBUM
Limited vinyl LP pressing of the fantastic 2015 studio album from guitar legend Chris Spedding. On Joyland, Spedding is supported by a star-studded guest list including Johnny Marr, Bryan Ferry, Robert Gordon, Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, Arthur Brown, Steve Snips Parsons, Andy Fraser, Andy Mackay and others. "Joyland sounds expert and well-crafted... smart, entertaining stuff with lots of great guitar work and atmosphere to spare". In a career spanning more than 40 years, Spedding is best known for his studio session work. By the early 1970s, he had become one of the most sought-after session guitarists in England. Spedding has played on and produced many albums and singles. He has also been a member of eleven rock bands: The Battered Ornaments, Frank Ricotti Quartet, King Mob, Mike Batt and Friends, Necessaries, Nucleus, Ricky Norton, Sharks, Trigger, and The Wombles.
