Let's Go

The 1980s gave US more than just big hair, scrunchies and day-glo fashion - it was also the decade that delivered some of the greatest pop songs of all time. Now David Campbell takes US back to the future with his brand new album, LET'S GO, a fun and very funky tribute to the new romantic in all of us. LET'S GO is David's highly-anticipated follow-up to his remarkable streak of four Top 10 albums in a row: The Swings Sessions [2006]; the Swing Sessions 2 [2007]; Good Lovin' [2008]; and on Broadway [2010]. LET'S GO was produced by Dorian West [musical director of the X-Factor and former member of 80s legends Boom Crash Opera], and features the immeasurable musical chops of David's loyal long-serving backing band [Martin Hailey on guitar, musical director Joe Accaria on drums and Ben Cripps on bass], plus guest appearances from the multi-talented Paul Gray [ex-Wa Wa Nee], up-and-coming singer Josie Lane and David's gifted sister, Mahalia Barnes. With LET'S GO, David Campbell reinvents the 1980s and makes these classic songs all his own. LET'S GO feels like a party caught on record. And this is just the beginning. David promises there's a lot more classic songs to come when he and his band take LET'S GO on a national tour in early 2012. So you better iron your Frankie Says Relax t-shirts, get your hair gelled just right, and get ready to GO, GO GO!! with David Campbell.
