The tracks are beautifully stripped down, which isolates the actual song and really allows room for Doug's distinctive vocals and lyrics to be out in front. If you are unfamiliar w/ Doug Burr, he is a Denton, TX local troubadour . . . hero. After 3 full lengths, including the critically acclaimed 'O Ye Devastator', Burr has surely carved his path in music. His carefully crafted, absolutely heart-felt songs seem to resonate with all who hear them. On stage, be it Mr. Burr alone or accompanied by a full band, no one leaves unaffected.
