Mundus Patet is an international dark music compilation featuring new music from four bands from around the world. Finger Painted Death is an industrial death-metal project hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and is one of many projects created by Rob 'Restless' Farris. Often horror themed, Finger Painted Death fuses harsh drum beats, ripping guitars and gut-wrenching vocals about things that go bump (and then disembowel) in the night. Dakuu, a Tokyo trio who refer to themselves as simply 'dark music' play a style of music very difficult to pin-point or pigeonhole. Though rooted in goth aesthetic, dakuu blends everything from No Wave, Japanoise, noise rock, pure noise, punk, and classic 70s Industrial. This cacophany of sound provides background for Asa's haunting and inhuman vocals. Stillborn DIZ are an industrial goth rock duo who can usually be found filming in Moscow for their next music video. These spooky kids riff and rock, Selvio shredding to Dani Vice's tales of monsters and freaks. The Death Sound are an industrial duo from Little Rock, Arkansas. While their live shows tended to be somewhat raucus (the self described 'punk of Litte Rock electronics'), their studio works have gained international recognition for being thoughtful and haunted.
