ABOUT THE ALBUM
On their eighth studio album the Silent Surf, All India Radio writer/producer Martin Kennedy embraces a lofi aesthetic and sparse instrumentation and the result is like the soundtrack to a beautiful and strange film. Present are the familiar scratchy atmospheres, dreamy beats and tremolo guitars, evoking images of cosmonauts, lost 1970s surf movies and lone gunmen straight out of an Ennio Morricone dream. The limited vinyl pack includes: numbered 180gm 12" vinyl, CD of the album, CD of exclusive ambient tracks, insert print of the album art by Martin Kennedy, vinyl exclusive tracklisting including two remasters of earlier favourites Four Three and Lofi Groovy, instant download of the album (with 6 bonus tracks).
