Lying in the Sun

There's a haunting voice that can conjure up country legends and the best of the singer songwriters. There's an understated presence and raw talent. There's a writer in full command of her craft, who never sacrifices emotion for style. Lera Lynn's gifts are undeniable; a regular guest on Garrison Keillor's a Prairie Home Companion, Lera has been attracting attention and respect from some of the leading artists in Americana music, and has been invited to tour with KD Lang, Punch Brothers, Sarah Jarosz, Jason Isbell, Leon Russell and others. Lera has also received accolades from Athens, GA, taking home the Flagpole Music Awards "Best Americana Artist" for 2011 and "Best Country Artist" for 2012. She picked up the Athens Banner Herald's "Vocalist of the Year" award in 2012 as well.
