ABOUT THE ALBUM
Dubbed the "the best party band in years" by NPR All Songs Considered, Red Baraat deliver a mind-bending meld of driving North Indian bhangra rhythms and New Orleans brass, Go-Go, and hard funk. This young band from Brooklyn has few peers - the Wall Street Journal calls them "A Big Band for the World" - and they have been turning heads as a result. After drawing rave reviews for their explosive live shows in 2012, (Bonnaroo, a TED Talk session, and a White House performance- alongside over 100 other club, festival, and college dates) big ticket press and media support has followed.
