ABOUT THE ALBUM
Scritti Politti appear here in their classic post-punk bass/drums/guitar trio. "Early" collects the entire Rough Trade discography 1978-1981 from the debut "Skank Bloc Bologna" EP, "2nd Peel Session, Pre-Langue" EP, through to the lovers soul breakthrough of "The Sweetest Girl". Essential listening. Limited edition (1,000 copies) double vinyl. MP3 download available. "This slanted and enchanted 'pop' is now overdue recognition for it's influence upon an underground scene that's latterly rediscovered this era's obscure charms" - Mojo.
