All My Tears

All My Tears album for sale by Alton Ellis was released Sep 13, 2011 on the Brook label. With his impeccable, easy phrasing, Alton Ellis was sort of the Jamaican Marvin Gaye, and he is chiefly remembered for his romantic ballads and carefully chosen pop and R&B covers, but he was also a fine songwriter, as his signature song, the impressive and moving "Cry Tough, " makes clear. This set includes "Cry Tough, " Ellis' earlier island hit "Dance Crasher, " a great version of "Ain't That Loving You, " and other sides Ellis recorded, most of them at Duke Reid's Treasure Isle Studio, between 1965 and 1968. All My Tears CD music contains a single disc with 11 songs.
