Let It Roll *

Good time R&R is what this recording emotes. Keith Sykes gets back to his rockin Memphis roots on these cuts. From "Pictures," a ballad done in the Sykes way, to "Muddin Honey" (Jerry Philips/Robert Hall), free for download at www. Fatpete. com, this record covers the gamut. Keith let's it loose with "Old Rockin Roller" and in the only way a guy who wrote hits for Jimmy Buffett, Rodney Crowell and Guy Clark could. Keith writes with some of the best. The roster reads like a who's who of songwriters. For example you have Danny Flowers, Roger Cook, and Django Walker. The Title Track "Let It Roll" (Ted Thompson) twists the disc up in a fine package.
