Jalopy Records 7 Series: Jackson Lynch

In these unadorned recordings, Jackson Lynch moves through delta blues and 1920s country, honoring the craft and sound of old American forms while also performing in his own style for his own era. The word at the tip of the tongue is "timeless," but Lynch plays with a kind of care and knowledge that edifies. Listeners steeped in this history will appreciate the new life these recordings convey, while new fans ought to savor these songs as the first step in a long look back.
