ABOUT THE ALBUM
Bill and the Belles have come into their own with debut album, 'DreamSongs, Etc.' This project unveils original material evocative of long-forgotten classics, and let's choice selections from the American songbook shine in a contemporary setting. Bill and the Belles' signature trio harmonies are on full display against a backdrop of banjo, fiddle, accordion, and clarinet. "DreamSongs, Etc." celebrates simple songs with enduring melodies, reminding us to take a breath and be unafraid to get lost in the moment. Engineered by Joseph DeJarnette of Studio808A, and released on Jalopy Records (from renowned New York City folk center, the Jalopy Theatre), this latest project from Bill and the Belles is a much needed pick-me-up.
