Pure Mania

"Pure Mania" is a blistering snapshot of first-wave British punk at it's most raw, loud, and irresistible. Released in 1977 by The Vibrators, the album distills the movement's DIY energy into a tight set of short, sharp shocks built on buzzsaw guitars, sneering vocals, and hooks that refuse to let go. Tracks like "Baby Baby," "Yeah Yeah Yeah," and the iconic "Stiff Little Fingers" balance pop-savvy melodies with street-level aggression, proving punk could be both confrontational and catchy. "Pure Mania" doesn't chase Polish or pretension, it thrives on urgency, attitude, and volume. Decades later, it still sounds dangerous, fun, and defiantly alive, standing as a cornerstone of UK punk and a perfect entry point for anyone craving the genre in it's purest form.
