Life Is a Dance

CD reissue. The remixes here are nothing short of fantastic. Even though they were produced in the '80s, they still sound spectacular. Quality never goes out of style. If pop music can be called classical then this particular creation of Chaka Khan and her musician associates can be truly considered classical. One cannot merely sit down and keep still while this music is playing, in particular if you are in a dancing mood in the first place, celebrating or just feel good and want to dance. Chaka's vocals are sheer genius, the energy, the elation, the unmistakable way of making every phrase hers. The crème de la crème from the Queen of the dancefloor; 'Ain't Nobody', 'Slow Dancin'(with Rick James) and 'I'm Every Woman'.
