ABOUT THE ALBUM
2015 two CD collection. 200 More Miles is a compilation of performances made in their early years as well as from tours later in their career. The toned down, powerful and deep voice of Maggie Timmons makes these recorded performances perhaps even stronger than most of their studio recordings. Covers of songs originally by Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Lou Reed and Bruce Springsteen are awesomely done with that CJ feel added to the song. This album surprises even the ultimate fan by presenting old songs in a new way. 200 More Miles is a perfect album to start your Cowboy Junkies adventure.
