ABOUT THE ALBUM
CD reissue. Faithfully, updated rendering of original art printed a Stoughton Printing Co. The Captains Birthday Party is a live recording of The Damned from November 1977 at The Roadhouse in London. Though brief with only eight tracks, the sound quality is absolutely exceptional capturing the raw energy of the band's early years. Mastered for CD by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio.
