Poseidon

Inspired by the epic writings of Maha Devi Li Ra La, the music of this Spindrift album penetrates the mists of ancient mythology, granting a musically enrapturing glimpse of the enigmatic God Poseidon, whose dominion over the Mediterranean Sea Waters lies at the source of many fantastic seafarer adventures, the grandeur, heroism, and courage of which capture the imagination of human spirit to this day. The gentleness as well as raw nature power of the continually moving oceanic waters weave through the melodies and rhythms of "Poseidon", beckoning the listener to not only lose him/herself in the infinity of the Oceans, but to also be reborn in the purifying and refreshing life energy of the oceanic waves that carry the soul to levels of existence beyond any limiting human confines. Occasional siren-like voices lure the senses into the sweet oblivion of underwater/subconscious delights of the soul, opening the vistas on exotic life forms beyond our everyday perceptions, with ancient ruins reminding of glories long sunken to the oceanic depths of our universal mind.
