ABOUT THE ALBUM
The long lost 1991 live at "Pop the Gator Club" concert tapes by the late Mississippi Soul-Funk-Jazz- Blues Guitar Legend Mel Brown resurface 25 years later and are now released on Electro-Fi Records to the delight of Blues music lovers everywhere. Mel Brown is joined by his ultra tight band the Homewreckers and special guest Austin, Texas guitar ace Denny Freeman (Bob Dylan band, Taj Mahal, Vaughan Brothers). This CD is your aural ticket to a time and place of pure musical magic and is a vivid living reminder of the genius of Blues legend Mel Brown live in performance. 0; "Mel Brown was Funky, Primeval and Perfect" - Rolling Stone
