Wanda Jackson + Right Or Wrong

Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Queen of Rockabilly on one disc. Wanda Jackson's influence is massive, spreading far beyond her gender and her heyday of the '50s & '60s. She was the female equivalent of Elvis Presley, who incited the nation with his leather suits and pelvic thrusting. Jackson was the first woman to bring sex appeal to the Rock 'n' Roll scene. This quintessential release features two of Wanda Jackson's finest albums from her earliest and most inspired years: her self-titled debut, Wanda Jackson (1958), and Right or Wrong (1961). Both masterpieces were originally released on Capitol Records. They helped define the exact nature of early Rock 'n' Roll and contain several hits that established Jackson as the Queen of Rockabilly. These formidable albums have been packaged together in this very special collector's edition, which also includes six bonus tracks from the same period. HooDoo.
