Farewell To The First Golden Era (Reissue)

Capturing every chart hit The Mamas & the Papas had scored up to that moment, Farewell to the First Golden Era arrived in October 1967 with a title that felt almost prophetic-hinting at both an ending and a lasting legacy. This collection brings together some of their most iconic tracks, including the gold-certified No. 1 ""Monday, Monday,"" the gold-selling Top Ten ""California Dreamin',"" and fan favorites like ""I Saw Her Again Last Night,"" ""Words of Love,"" and ""Dedicated to the One I Love,"" and ""Creeque Alley."" Though the band would reunited briefly in 191 to record People Like Us, this release stands as a defining snapshot of their golden years.
