Tonight At The Arizona

Released in 2007, Tonight At The Arizona fully captured The Felice Brothers' singular blend of Americana, folk, country, and ragged roots rock. The album wears it's influences-from Bob Dylan, The Band, and traditional American folk music-openly, yet transforms them into something unmistakably it's own. Across songs such as ""Roll On Arte,"" ""The Ballad of Lou the Welterweight,"" ""Rockefeller Druglaw Blues,"" and ""Mercy,"" the band creates richly drawn characters whose lives unfold with equal measures of tenderness, humour, and heartbreak. Tonight At The Arizona stands as one of the defining early statements of modern Americana-a loose, lyrical, and deeply atmospheric collection that established The Felice Brothers as heirs to the great tradition of American folk storytelling while carving out a distinctive voice of their own. Tonight At The Arizona is available for the first time in years on special edition Blue Vinyl. The band are appearing at UK festivals throughout August and September https://www.
