Whitehorse Winter Classic

With A Whitehorse Winter Classic, Whitehorse offers original seasonal songs that beautifully celebrate the holiday spirit and also explore some of the darker flip sides of the festive season, feelings of melancholy and loneliness, regret and more. In true Whitehorse fashion, this "melancholiday" album is not all jingle bells and jolliness, but a more complicated experience. Complete with children's choir, string arrangements and two twangy, sorrowful covers, country Christmas classic "Blue Christmas" and The Pretenders' indie classic "2000 Miles," A Whitehorse Winter Classic is a graceful and measured take on the complex mix of celebration and resignation that can accompany the season.
