ABOUT THE ALBUM
Toulouse Engelhardt takes the surf guitar to it's absolute extremes in this series of milestone recordings. MARTIAN LUST is a complete deviation from the norm and explores new worlds of sound. It is a hilarious collection of intergalactic fingerstyle recordings performed exclusively on a Mosrite "Ventures Model" electronic solid body guitar. If you love the "Mosrite Guitar Sound" of the Ventures, and all the fun garage bands of the 1960's beach scene and admire the finger style gymnastics of Chet Atkins then you will enjoy this collection of "Out of this World" originals and arrangements.
