Upfront

Imagine if you will, being a great singer working for years in a supporting capacity; singing background for some of the greats in the industry. Greats like, Patti Austin, Lalah Hathaway, Eric Benet, Will Downing, Maysa Leak, Phil Perry only to name a few and then one day you meet a musician and producer who ask you if would you be interested in coming upfront and doing a solo project. Well, this is how the new career of "Sol" came about and the rest is history! When you combine Al Jarreau, Luther Vandross and Musiq Soulchild, you get Sol! This record is super strong from the first track to the last and no fillers, just great music. Some tracks make you want to dance, others make you just want to sit and listen. These songs and the interpretation of them will blow you away. The recipe for this project: A touch of jazz, touch of smooth jazz, touch of neo-soul and large heaping dose of groove! Sol is not only a dynamic vocalist with a great personality; he is a songwriter who possesses the natural ability to write great songs and arrange vocals with ease and performs with passion! Get ready to hear some awesome music from this emerging artist!
