Thee Original Booty Burglars are a four piece original party-your-face-off rockin' roll band renowned for their high energy, stage prescence, catchy tunes and especially interactive antics. Coupled with the ability to win over any crowd, the O.B.B. is a force to be reckoned with. Originally the Booty Burglars met up in Missoula, MT. Uncle Jesse and Jerry Curl hooked up at a local open mic night after working together for several months at an upscale pizza joint, 'the first time we ever played together, we we're on stage makin' shit up.' Immediately after their first show ever, they were courted by the club owner to open for a band the following week, they quickly conjured a rythm section and took the area by storm in early 2002! Since Valentine's Day of 2003, thee Burglars have found themselves a home in Southern California, and are currently living in Los Angeles. Equipped with an ass-kickin' rhythm section, Catfish on Bass and Punky Meadows on Drums, their ready to rock some faces off! Put them in any live show, in any venue, and they slay! Their style has been compared to anything from the Cramps, to early Red Hot Chili Peppers, on down to the B-52's. 'If we must categorize it I would call our sound Alternative Party Rockin' Roll with a Sex feel.' PLACES ROCKED AND THE BANDS THEY PLAYED WITH..... L.A./O.C. venues include: the Whisky a Go-Go, Dragonfly, the Knitting Factory, The Viper Room, King King, the Rainbow Room, the Garage, 14 Below, Zen Sushi, The Joint, the Tiki Bar, Liquid Den, Fitzgerald's, The Gypsy Lounge, Hogue Barmichael's and numerous others...... Major Cities outside the LA area include: Las Vegas (NV), Portland (OR), San Diego (CA), San Francisco (CA), Seattle (WA), Phoenix (AZ), San Antonio, Austin, and Houston (TX), New Orleans (LA), Nashville and Memphis (TN), and numerous other college towns and smaller cities in between!
