Aurora Central Records proudly presents the first-ever compilation of electroacoustic music from Central America on vinyl-or in any format. Limited to 300 copies (200 on black vinyl and 100 on white- and-blue vinyl), this release features seven contemporary artists from the nations of the former Federal Republic of Central America (1835-1839): Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Central America is a land of immense musical and artistic richness that is rarely explored in depth or researched. All works included in this compilation are previously unreleased compositions of contemporary living artists. The artistic approaches represented here are as diverse as the countries themselves, reflecting a wide range of perspectives, techniques, and sonic landscapes.
