Balance 016

After raising the bar to unprecedented heights in 2009 with Joris Voorn and will Saul's stunning additions to the series, EQ recordings' balance series returns for the new decade with balance 016, yet another standard setting mix from one of the most sophisticated and inspiring names in techno: Agoria. The concept of the latest release from Agoria for balance is all about the balance itself. Editing but not too much, diverse but not too much, vocals but not too much, exclusive but not too much, weird but not too much. Showcasing peakin', diverse, exclusive, old, new, edits and various stuff from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Aphrodite's child, Efdemin, Kid A, Jonny Greenwood, Avril, DJ Koze, Todd Terje, Tosca, Tipper and more.. Balance 016 is as deep and rewarding as a well-woven novel, the dénouement of the story unfolding as the mix evolves through Agoria's musical DNA. Yet another essential addition to the compilation series that is fast becoming the new benchmark for ambitious DJs and demanding listeners alike. For fans of: balance series, Joris Voorn, Sascha Funke, James Holden, top shelf open minded dance music.
