Profile

2014 marks 30 years as a musical performer for Ricky Martin, a man who started his career at the tender age of 13 as a member of Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. Ricky's been a solo-performer for over 20 years now and continues to attract huge international success and critical praise for his many projects. A TV star too in many territories - following his role as a coach on The Voice in both Mexico and Australia - and an author of his autobiography and a recent children's book, this man-of-many-talents shows no sign of letting up any time soon, and he may well be celebrating his 40th - and even 50th - year in the business in coming decades. This 2 CD set features an interview disc containing several discussions with the man himself made at various points in his career to date, plus a second disc which includes a biography of Ricky Martin's life and career in the music business which tells how it all began for this remarkable performer.
