ABOUT THE ALBUM
Limited colored From their beginnings as one of the most-acclaimed bands in the genre's first wave, through their growth into a unique and wildly-progressive entity, Gorguts cast a long shadow of influence over extreme metal that reverberates to this day. On 2013's Colored Sands which served as the Montreal-based quartet's first new album in almost twelve years, the band (helmed by founder Luc Lemay) builds off the groundwork laid by it's earth-shattering, genre-milestone Obscura (1998). Standout cuts like "Forgotten Arrows" and "Absconders" see Gorguts explore ancient Tibetan history with all the delicateness of a bulldozer.
