Icelandic metal cult Zhrine (featuring members of Svartidaudi and formerly named Shrine) unleashed a monolithic slab of death with their 2016 Season of Mist debut album Unortheta. An imposing beast of an album, Unortheta is a twisted mass of dense and atonal riffing among some of the genre's most elegant and cinematic arrangements.
