Vision Mission

Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based Raxon makes his Lone Romantic debut with a two-tracker that sees him step decisively into breakbeat territory.A DJ for over 20 years, Raxon's journey through sound took him from the late 90s rock, hip hop, and trance of his early teens through to the Barcelona scene where he began releasing music with some of the most respected labels in dance music - Kompakt, Ellum, Cocoon, and Turbo Recordings among them.Heads will move on 'Vision Mission' - low-slung and deliberate with gated breaks cut sharp into a two-step swing that carries a distinctly UK sensibility, and underpinned by a gritty, warping bassline and a twisted vocal coiling through like a live wire.'Wrong Song' shifts the weight forward into physical, modern drum and bass terrain. A deep and relentless, undulating bassline drives the momentum while mechanical stabs and a grinding mid-range give the track it's industrial edge.
