ABOUT THE ALBUM
The third time was a charm for this Chicago singer with the otherworldly voice. After her Rotary Connection recordings and solo debut Come to My Garden drew raves but failed to sell like they should have, this 1974 LP finally made her the star she was destined to be (tragically, she would flicker out five years later). The album (featuring Stevie Wonder) hit #4, Lovin' You hit #1 and became a standard, and the whole thing is imbued with delicate beauty: Lovin' You; Perfect Angel; Our Lives; Reasons, and more!
