Am I Groovin' You?: Great R&B Hits

Walk into a blues club and you'll seethe local bands doing some B.B., some Muddy, some Wolf, some Walter, some T-Bone and some Z.Z. Hill. This Texan contributed some bona-fide classics to the genre; this disc gets you the best of his '70s United Artists stuff (with some songs penned/produced by Allen Toussaint and Lamont Dozier): The R&B hits Am I Groovin' You; Ain't Nothing You Can Do; Let Them Talk; I Keep on Lovin' You; I Don't Need Half a Love, and I Created a Monster plus Dream Don't Let Me Down; Can I Get a Witness, and more gutsy, soulful stuff!
