ABOUT THE ALBUM
Freitas' Team Love debut, equal parts wry, warm, and sonorous, is the end product of several years of life's ups and downs. He writes, plays, engineers, and produces every note on his records. "Sun Down" takes you from Paul Simon's "Graceland" to David Bowie's "Hunky Dory" in a span of forty effortless minutes. It's imbued with a sort of indie grandeur that is both unexpected and totally natural. Press for his previous records: "... grafts the indie smarts of Quasi to 70's AM rock" - 4 stars. "A John Lennon songwriting vibe that is just unmistakable and timeless" - Heckler. "Pop that will leave listeners giddy with pleasure" - CMJ.
