Piano Concertos 1 - 5

Beethoven: Piano Concertos Nos. 1-5 CD 3 Discs "Aimard is a pianist of exceptional finesse, whose playing is crystalline, elegant, musically pleasing, and, when need be, sparkling and brilliant. His complex trills in the first-movement cadenza of Concerto 4 are astonishingly pearly and delicate. The orchestra is smaller than is the norm and plays with unusual precision and responsiveness to Harnoncourt's direction." - Mulbury, ARG
