Produced by Ted Hutt (Dropkick Murphys, Old Crow Medicine Show), Deserts features nine original songs written by Wyatt Lowe, alongside his take on Gordon Lightfoot's iconic “Sundown.” The album showcases Lowe as both a songwriter and a player, weaving together country-rock, blues, and Americana with the lived-in feel of an artist who has spent much of his life on the road and behind a guitar. Deserts captures Lowe's raw musicianship and distinctive approach to classic American songwriting while carving out a sound entirely his own.
