ABOUT THE ALBUM
Chicago native and Brooklyn-based pianist Dan Cray makes his debut on Origin Records with a new group featuring young saxophone phenom Noah Preminger, veteran drummer Mark Ferber, and longtime musical compatriot, bassist Clark Sommers. Melodic original compositions and a strong sense of thematic cohesion and rhythmic verve provide momentum to Cray's dynamic quartet outing. "His sense of swing could crush limestone... an uncommonly interesting young pianist." - the Buffalo News Tracks: 1. Smile 2. Worst Enemy 3. Amor Fati 4. Serenity 5. East 69 6.
