ABOUT THE ALBUM
Throw all preconceived notions out in the parking lot; the 11-members of Japan's Vampillia are here to completely throw you on your ass. Any attempt to put this band into a neat genre box is impossible. Featuring former members of the Boredoms, Some Nightmares Take You Aurora Rainbow Darkness is sublime madness. Pitchfork says it best noting, 'Vampillia writhe through a wall of sound, with violins trilling, guitars grinding, and voices bending and clipping.'
