ABOUT THE ALBUM
2009 release. Many records claim to defy categorization - this one means it. Hudson Mohawk (AKA 22-year-old Glaswegian Ross Birchard) has always been ahead of the curve - making mix tapes age 10, putting beats together on his Playstation age 12 and winner of the UK DMC Championships age 14 (the youngest ever winner). The latest step in this process is Butter, 18 doses of melt-in-the-mouth R&B and breakneck beats with instant appeal. By enlisting a select crew of vocalists for the Butter sessions, Hud Mo has painted his own version of 21st Century smash hits.
