Baby It's Been

'Kid Idaho's punky energy comes as breath of fresh air when so many singer/songwriters wallow in worthiness. ]The CD's]simplicity and directness shows a clear focus which has been lacking on so many of the CDs of this genre...The only downside is it's length. With 9 tracks in under 23 minutes - that works out to an average track length of 2-1/2 minutes - this mini LP is criminally short considering how good it is.' -bluesbunny.com Kid Idaho is a manifestation of the beautifully twisted American Dream. Arrogant, confident, obsessive, drunk and passionate. Stripped of all the superfluous trappings that jangle from modern music today, Kid Idaho's acoustic sound is simple, aggressive, and requires no deconstruction to be appreciated. He takes cues from the likes of John Lennon, Neil Finn and Jack White in his songwriting and lyric style. One man and his guitar lamenting broken relationships, railing against inequality, and trying to make sense of life's assault. Fresh from four years in New York playing in various punk and rock bands, Kid Idaho now lives in Seattle and pursues his own unique vision as a singer-songwriter crafting intelligent lyrics, memorable melodies, and excellent guitar-playing.
