America America

AMERICA AMERICA is the 7th solo album from R&B and Gospel vocalist BeBe Winans. BeBe is not just a member of the beloved Winans family, he is also a celebrated award winning songwriter and producer. In the midst of an important U.S. election year, this would seem like a perfect time to remind ourselves of all that we hold dear. On AMERICA AMERICA, Winans pours heart and soul into all American classics that include, "America the Beautiful," "Lift Every Voice," "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," and our National anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner." with the exception of 3 new songs written by Winans, AMERICA AMERICA is comprised of tried and true familiar material long held in public domain. This warm collection of classics is bolstered by Winans distinctive soulful tenor which give these songs not just renewed meaning, it's as if we are hearing them for the very first time.
