ABOUT THE ALBUM
Arboretum is the name singer/songwriter/guitarist David Heumann uses to mine an enthralling and unique type of "Doom Folk-Rock". Arboretum's third album 'Song of the Pearl', the first with a proper band lineup, crystallizes Heumann's vision, delivering an arresting blend of traditional English folk and American Hard Rock, driven by a propulsive rhythm section and explosive dueling guitars. Licensed by Longtime Listener from Thrill Jockey Records, the local version includes 3 exclusive bonus tracks from the limited edition and now out of print Pontiak split-LP, 'Kale'.
