ABOUT THE ALBUM
This is the first-ever authorized reissue of Gary Higgins' highly-sought Red Hash album of 1971. The CD is 11 haunting tracks of folk-pop played on acoustic and electric guitar. The songs are arranged with percussion, cello, flute, piano, organ, bass, mandolin, and Higgins' transcendent vocals. The CD includes two unheard bonus tracks 'Don't Ya Know', an early '80s home recording, and 'Last Great Sperm Whale', a 1975 track featuring Higgins and three of the Red Hash players. 13 tracks.
