ABOUT THE ALBUM
The original Mr. Bongo is back on the scene and sounding vibrant after a recent trip to Havana. Costanzo introduced and popularized the bongo in American music in the 40s and 50s, working with STan Kenton, Nat "King" Cole, Peggy Lee and others. This reocrd is full of scorching descargas, mambos and cha-chas.
